Product Description

With a centrally located bulb Wide Awake provides a soft ambient glow to enhance the atmosphere of any room; great as a funky addition to the desk or just a soft light by the bedside. Wide Awake also acts as a perfect demonstration of Design Instinct’s environmental policy: it is made from a material that is 100% recyclable, packaged in a box made of 75% recycled cardboard with an instruction manual printed on 100% recycled paper. While inevitably some components of the lamp had to be imported from abroad Wide Awake is made right here in the UK, ensuring it has a relatively small carbon footprint.

We will soon be supplying all out lamps with energy saving bulbs, but if you want to go even greener the Nimbus Table/Floor Lamp will work just as well with a ‘warm white’ or ‘daylight’ compact fluorescent energy saving bulb or LED light bulb replacement.
