Created by British Artist Laura Seaby who currently lives in Cheltenham where she has worked as a designer since graduating in 2006. In her current role she designs packaging and products for high street retail clients.

In her spare time she is kept busy with various printmaking and illustration projects.  Her No.1 resolution for 2011 is to be less distracted by TV and spend more time in her studio.

Laura Seaby’s  A – Z of New York and London are really super prints, referencing twenty-six of New York City’s & London’s greatest landmarks and icons.

Laura has combined typography and beautiful illustration in bold colours to create this alphabet, perfect for anyone of any age who has a soft spot for these amazing cities.

Eames Style Lounge Chair & Ottoman Set

The Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman, correctly titled Eames Lounge and Ottoman were released in 1956 after years of development by designers Charles and Ray Eames. They are now part of the permanent collection of New York’s Museum of Modern Art. The chair first appeared on the Arlene Francis ‘Home’ show broadcast on the NBC television network in the USA in 1956. Since then it has made many appearances on television and film and has found celebrity status amongst modern furniture design.

Few would argue that this chair could be the most easily recognisable and desirable furniture classic design of all time!! It appeals to people for several reasons. It is a classic design that has been in production ever since its creation. In addition to its style, it is also very comfortable a combination not always found in high design. Additionally, some people find it desirable purely for reasons of value with originals of the chair fetching well over £3500. Our quality reproduction of this classic is sympathetic to the detail and comfort of the original but at a fraction of the cost!

The chair is made from a series of moulded plywood veneer layers, thick soft cushioning covered in full Italian leather. The solid metal base is black with stainless tops and sides as per the original. The chair does not tilt as it is a one position relaxer chair.

This represents a fantastic opportunity of owning what could be described as furniture’s most endearing design ever.

Newgate Quad Clock

Walking down the Portobello Road one very dark winters morning, the original of this clock was spotted in the back of a dealers car. Still dark and relying on the beam of their torchlights, the buyers took a gamble and bought what turned out to be this impressive chrome square clock

This stunning clock is a recreation of an original found that morning in Portobello Road. The quality is second to none and this can be seen with its precision hand folded case.

This clock has a metal case and metal hands. The printed dial has been given an aged appearance and includes the appearance of authentic markings on the dial.
